Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teachers to work in schools across Sheffield.
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students build confidence in mathematics and achieve their academic potential. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator to deliver engaging lessons, encourage logical thinking, and support learners in developing the skills they need for future success.
Maths Teacher Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5, preparing students for assessments and examinations
Develop students’ problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour
Support students’ academic and personal development
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
Requirements of a Maths Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Experience teaching Maths in a school setting is desirable
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
A professional and proactive approach to teaching
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
