Your new role
You will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
• Planning creative lessons that inspire a love of literature and language
• Assessing, tracking and supporting pupil progress effectively
• Contributing positively to department planning and wider school life

What you''ll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for English
• Ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
