The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate.
• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing timely feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can succeed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an outstanding Maths curriculum.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

What We''re Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school (placements welcomed for ECTs).
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A commitment to raising standards and improving student outcomes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• The right to work in the UK.

• Main Pay Scale (MPS) / Upper Pay Scale (UPS): -34,068 - -52,834 per annum, depending on experience and current pay scale.
