Academics are recruiting on behalf of a a secondary provision in Basingstoke which provides education for pupils aged 10-16 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Autism (ASC).

They are looking to appoint an experienced and caring Maths Teacher to join their teaching staff. This is a full-time, permanent contract to start ASAP.

They have very high expectations of their students and work exceptionally hard with a dedicated and inspiring staff team to provide a learning environment that enables them to thrive. Their staff team go above and beyond every day to ensure that students get the best possible experience.

The suitable Maths Teacher must be fully qualified, be emotionally intelligent, empathetic, highly motivated and be able to deliver an exciting and engaging Maths curriculum that develops learner''s Maths knowledge and skills.

The successful Maths Teacher will ideally have experience of teaching in an SEN/SEMH school although this role is open to all. What is important is being able to engage with young people, build positive relationships and have the ability to tailor your lessons to meet their individual learning needs.
