Maths Teacher

Bright Star Talent is currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join a secondary school based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire (WN8 6JN). We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Maths Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils of varying abilities and helping them to achieve their full potential. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher or a strong ECT looking to join a supportive secondary school environment. The successful candidate will be confident managing a classroom, building positive relationships with pupils and delivering the Maths curriculum effectively. The role will include: Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons Preparing pupils for GCSE Maths Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs Assessing, monitoring and recording pupil progress Creating a positive and productive classroom environment Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies Working collaboratively with the Maths department and wider teaching team Supporting pupils to build confidence and develop their Maths skills We are looking for someone who: Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Has experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting Is confident delivering the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills Is reliable, organised and committed to ..... full job details .....
