      <description>Location: Liverpool | Salary: &amp;pound;32916 - &amp;pound;51048/annum | Type: Permanent | This role is for a Secondary Maths teacher based within a South Liverpool- secondary -special- school -for boys with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.-   Experience/Qualifications-needed:   Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).-  Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.-  Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.-  Understanding of SEMH needs, trauma-informed practice and restorative approaches.-  Ability to build positive relationships with vulnerable pupils.-  Strong communication and teamwork skills.-  Resilience, adaptability and emotional intelligence.   About the Role   To deliver high-quality Mathematics teaching to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, enabling them to achieve positive academic, personal and emotional outcomes.-  The postholder will create a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment, using adaptive teaching, strong behaviour management and trauma-informed approaches to support pupils with a range of additional needs and barriers to learning.
