We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Suffolk, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QTS Maths Teacher. The school is committed to delivering high-quality mathematics education, encouraging students to think critically, solve complex problems and achieve excellent outcomes across Key Stages.
Job Overview:
- This school caters for students aged 11-16.
- Full-time, Monday - Friday, Maths Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire students through creative and challenging lessons that develop problem-solving, reasoning and mathematical fluency.
- Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure strong attainment and positive outcomes.
- Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.
- Work collaboratively with the Mathematics department and wider school team.
- Contribute to curriculum development, intervention programmes and enrichment opportunities.

What we''re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school.
- A passion for Mathematics and the ability to engage, motivate and challenge learners of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
