ABC Teachers are seeking a dynamic and committed Maths Teacher to join a SEND school, based in Solihull.The school is a supportive and inclusive SEND setting; the school is committed to providing high-quality education tailored to the individual needs of their pupils. The school prides on nurturing the whole child academically, socially, and emotionally to ensure they thrive in a safe and engaging learning environment.The Role You will teach small groups of learners who may be working below age-related expectations, adapting the curriculum to ensure it is meaningful, relevant, and appropriately challenging. Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils, ensuring learning is accessible and differentiated.Teach a range of accredited pathways at KS4 (e.g., Entry Level, Functional Skills, GCSE where appropriate).Use creative strategies and practical approaches to develop pupils confidence and numeracy skills.Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support pupils needs.Track progress closely and provide clear, supportive feedback to learners.Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.Create a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment that promotes independence and resilience.
