Maths LecturerLocation - Cinderford and Gloucester 2/3 day split£33 per hour Temporary, 37 hours per week August start - end of October confirmedAre you an experienced Maths Lecturer who can support learners to build confidence and achieve their next step?The Role:• Deliver engaging GCSE Maths sessions, mainly for 16 to 18-year-old learners• Teach Functional Skills Maths to adult learners where required• Plan and adapt lessons to meet different learner needs and confidence levels• Support learners to make progress towards successful outcomes• Work professionally within a further education setting across Cinderford and GloucesterPerson Requirements:• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Maths, with a Maths degree desirable• Recognised teaching qualification• Experience lecturing in Maths in further education, secondary, adult learning or similar settings• Ability to motivate learners who may need extra encouragement with Maths• Flexible and organised approach, with availability to work across both locationsBenefits:• Competitive hourly agency rate• Full-time temporary contract• Opportunity to support GCSE resit and Functional Skills learners• Varied delivery across two Gloucestershire locations• Meaningful role helping learners strengthen essential maths skillsIf you are interested and have the relevant experience, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV.
