GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Instructor to join schools across the local area. This role is perfect for someone who can make mathematics engaging, encourage problem-solving, and support students to reach their full potential.

As a Mathematics Instructor, you will plan, deliver, and assess lessons across the Maths curriculum. You will support students to develop numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills while fostering confidence in their learning. Working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting pupils’ academic progress will be central to this role.

Key Responsibilities of a Maths Instructor:

• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national Maths curriculum.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.
• Support students in developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare and maintain teaching resources and materials.
• Encourage student engagement and participation in Maths activities.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, support staff, and parents to enhance learning.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students with homework, interventions, and revision sessions.
• Participate in professional development to stay updated with curriculum changes.

Maths Instructor Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK school setting.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and key stage requirements.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
• Passion for teaching and supporting student achievement.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
