The young people we support may be:Out of mainstream educationStruggling with attendance or school refusalExperiencing anxiety or SEMH needsDiagnosed with ASD or ADHDLiving with additional learning needs or EHCP requirementsFinding traditional school settings challengingAs a 1:1 Maths and English Tutor, you will build positive relationships with pupils, identify gaps in their learning and deliver engaging sessions tailored to their individual needs. Your support will help learners rebuild confidence, improve their academic skills and re-engage with education. What we''re looking for:Minimum of 1 year tutoring or teaching experienceExperience delivering Maths and English tuitionExperience working with children or young people with SENStrong understanding of additional needs and barriers to learningAbility to deliver engaging and differentiated 1:1 sessionsPatient, nurturing and adaptable approachExperience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or anxiety-related needs is desirableGCSE and Functional Skills experience is beneficialAvailability for flexible daytime sessionsA genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potentialWhat we offer:Flexible ..... full job details .....
