Location: Finchley, BarnetPay Rate: 25- 30 per hourHours: FlexibleJob Type: Temporary Part-Time Term-TimeProspero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and experienced Maths and English Tutor to provide 1:1 support to students in Finchley. The students are currently out of mainstream education, including those awaiting school placements, receiving alternative provision, or accessing EOTAS packages.This is a rewarding opportunity to work with young people who may have experienced disruption to their education and require tailored academic support to help them re-engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their educational goals.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and personalised Maths and English tuition tailored to the student''s age, ability, and learning needs.Support students who are currently out of school and may have gaps in their education.Identify learning needs and create structured lesson plans to accelerate progress.Develop confidence and competence in core Maths and English skills.Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit individual learning styles and needs.Foster positive attitudes towards learning and encourage student engagement.Monitor, record, and report on student progress and outcomes.Build strong relationships with students, parents/carers, schools, and local authorities where required.Requirements:Experience teaching or tutoring Maths and English.Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.Experience working with children and young ..... full job details .....
