About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Maths Teacher for one of our SEN Schools based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic potential. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys inspiring young minds and making a positive impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons in line with the curriculum
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support students in developing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Previous teaching experience (preferred but not essential for strong candidates)
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
