You will be providing specialist technical expertise across the business, supporting the selection, testing, validation and use of materials and manufacturing processes to ensure products meet demanding technical, cost and reliability requirements. Role: Materials Test Technician Pay : -33.56 per hour via Umbrella Contract: 37 hours per week, 6 months contract Location: Stevenage - hybrid IR35: Inside SC Clearance: BPSS Responsibilities: Wide ranging testing and assessment of materials including metallic materials (aluminium, steels, titanium) and non-metallic materials including composites, polymers, paints and adhesives and related processes. Familiarity with general lab equipment is required and any experience of, XRF, SEM, EDX, OES, FTIR, paint inspection equipment and mechanical testing would be beneficial but not essential.
