Materials Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Materials Technician to join a specialist technical team supporting customers across aerospace, motorsport, defence, medical, energy, nuclear, and advanced engineering sectors.The RoleWorking closely with the Laboratory Supervisor, you will ensure customer testing requirements are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales. You will also play an important role in improving laboratory processes and supporting technical enquiries.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out materials testing in line with customer requirements.Review specifications and prepare test plans.Maintain accurate test records and documentation.Assist in improving laboratory procedures and testing processes.Provide technical support to internal teams and customers.Promote high standards of quality, accuracy and Health and Safety.About YouExcellent communication and organisational skills.Strong attention to detail and numerical ability.Able to follow technical procedures accurately.Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Previous laboratory or engineering experience is advantageous.BenefitsMonday to Thursday: 08:30am - 5:00pmFriday: 08:30am - 4:30pm (37-hour week)No weekend workingChristmas shutdown25 days'' annual leave plus Bank HolidaysCompany pension and annual bonus schemeSick pay after probationUniform and safety boots providedFree on-site parkingImmediate start availableOne-stage face-to-face interview processIf you are looking to ..... full job details .....
