Materials Supervisor x 3

The Role Integrate Engineering Resources are recruiting 3 experienced Materials Supervisors on behalf of our client for an 18-month major industrial construction project in the North East. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising the receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, tracking and issue of mechanical and electrical materials and equipment across the project''s warehouses, storage facilities and laydown areas. Applicants must have a strong background in materials management on large-scale power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical or heavy industrial construction projects, with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment, material identification, traceability and construction requirements. Working closely with engineering, procurement, logistics and construction teams, you will ensure materials are correctly controlled, stored and made available to support the construction programme. Duties Will Include Supervising Storemen, Forklift Operators and material handling teams across warehouse and laydown operations. Overseeing the receipt, inspection, storage, preservation and distribution of mechanical and electrical materials. Managing materials including pipework, valves, fittings, structural supports, mechanical equipment, pumps, motors, cable drums, cable trays, switchgear, electrical panels and instrumentation.
