Materials Requirements Planning Controller Annual Salary: 35,000Location: SheffieldJob Type: Full-timeHours: Days based role - with early finish Fridays and Flexi Time AvailableRole Summary This role will be responsible for managing supplier performance, coordinating material supply, and ensuring inventory levels are aligned with production requirements. Working closely with Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics teams, you''ll play a key role in maintaining a reliable supply chain and supporting on time customer delivery within a fast-paced engineering environment. The ideal candidate will come from a Materials Planning, Procurement or Supply chain background within the engineering or manufacturing industry.Day-to-day of the role:Manage supplier relationships and performance, taking ownership of a designated supplier portfolio, conducting reviews, visits, and monitoring key KPIs such as OTIF and RFT.Control supplier pricing and procurement activities, negotiating competitive rates, managing annual price reviews, raising purchase orders, and maintaining visibility of supplier spend.Ensure material availability for production, optimising inventory levels, managing MRP requirements, and working closely with Planning to prevent production delays.Resolve supply chain and delivery issues proactively, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain operational continuity.Maintain accurate systems and stakeholder ..... full job details .....
