This is a hands on role covering inspection, despatch and material movement within a busy manufacturing environment. You will be checking incoming and finished products, making sure materials are correctly identified and handling the paperwork when something is not right. You will also be moving material around site using FLTs, pendant cranes and sideloaders. The role will include: Inspecting incoming materials and finished products Checking product identification and traceability Raising paperwork for non-conforming products Supporting final inspection before despatch Loading, unloading and moving materials Using FLTs, pendant cranes and sideloaders Highlighting issues to Production Control Working to strict quality and health and safety procedures Supporting improvement activity within the department You do not need to come from a pure quality background.
