With a strong focus on operational performance, efficiency and continuous improvement, the organisation offers a collaborative environment where supply chain and manufacturing teams work closely to meet evolving customer demand.Your new roleAs MPandL Manager, you will take full responsibility for the materials planning and logistics function within the plant, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. You will lead all aspects of materials management, including production planning, inventory control, forecasting, and delivery performance. The role will see you working closely with operations to develop and adjust production schedules in line with customer releases, ensuring material availability aligns with a high-volume, just-in-time manufacturing environment. You will oversee MRP planning to ensure customer expectations are met at optimal cost, while proactively identifying risks, waste and inefficiencies within the supply chain. Managing inventory accuracy through cycle counting and controls will form a critical part of your remit, alongside maintaining compliance with automotive quality standards and regulatory requirements.
