Materials Planner/Buyer

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with planning, purchasing or supply chain experience who enjoys working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure materials are available to support customer and production requirements.Working within the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for planning and expediting materials in line with business requirements, ensuring stock levels are effectively managed while maintaining excellent supplier performance.Key responsibilities will include:Managing material requirements through the MRP system and ensuring data accuracyPlanning and scheduling deliveries to meet forecast and production demandsMonitoring and maintaining inventory levels while minimising material shortagesBuilding strong relationships with suppliers and managing day-to-day communicationExpediting orders and resolving supply issues to minimise disruptionSupporting new product introductions and material phase-outsMonitoring supplier performance and service levelsWorking closely with Production, Planning, Commercial and Marketing teamsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain processesAssisting with purchasing activities and supplier negotiations About YouWe are looking for ..... full job details .....
