This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials availability for weekly production, protecting output and minimising waste across a fast-paced operation.You will take ownership of material planning for assigned categories, ensuring stock is available in line with the production plan while working closely with suppliers, Warehouse, Planning and the wider Supply Chain team. The role requires someone who is organised, analytical and confident managing multiple work streams in a dynamic environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a materials or supply chain professional who wants to develop further within a growing food manufacturing business and take on broader responsibility over time.Key Responsibilities Own short term material planning for assigned categoriesEnsure materials availability to maximise weekly production output Manage and report on short term wasteOversee ordering of chilled ingredients, Sheard packaging and ad hoc short term requirementsInvestigate material shortages and conduct root cause analysisWork closely with Warehouse to manage capacity and stock flowManage blast freezing and tempering processes to minimise wasteProvide holiday cover for the Supply Chain CoordinatorSupport the Long Term Raw Materials Planner when ..... full job details .....
