Materials Planner

A client of ours in the Thetford area are recruiting a Materials Planner to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm or 8:30am - 4:30pm. Paying up to 35,000 per annum depending on experience.Reporting to the Senior Planner, key duties include but are not limited to:Converting production plan into material requirement for all packaging componentsPlacing orders taking into account stock levels, lead times, costs and scrap factorsMaintaining adequate stock levels in line with order book, historical ordering pattern and line performancesEnsuring orders are aligned with goods inwards and store managersDaily management of orders and stocksManaging key suppliers and staying in regular contactCommunicates any material issuesOwning forward packaging and consumables procurement planLiaising with Warehouse Manager regarding shelf life and slow-moving stockAssisting in the transition to D365 from the existing Dynamics ERP systemSkills and Experience required to be considered for this Materials Planner position:FMCG experience, a minimum of 2 years'' experience within a planning or purchasing functionAdvanced Excel skillsHighly organisedERP systems experienceExcellent communication skillsIf you feel like you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this Materials Planner position, please apply with your CV. ..... full job details .....
