MATERIALS BUYER / PURCHASING COORDINATOR MANUFACTURING UP TO £40,000 Staffordshire / Crewe Border Accessible from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe, Stone, Alsager, Congleton, Nantwich, Stafford, Market Drayton, Telford and surrounding areas. Are you an experienced Materials Buyer who can keep production moving, suppliers on track and materials arriving on time? This is a hands-on purchasing role with a well-established global business that is performing well, offering great benefits and the chance to make a real impact from day one. Important: please only apply if you have proven materials buying, materials purchasing, procurement buying or supply chain buying experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, production or another materials-led environment. You should already be confident raising purchase orders, chasing and expediting suppliers, using MRP/ERP information and following materials through to delivery in line with production requirements. You will take ownership of day-to-day materials purchasing activity, working closely with planning, production, suppliers and internal teams to protect material availability, support stock control and help keep customer delivery on track. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Raising, updating and managing purchase orders accurately and on time. Expediting suppliers, confirming delivery dates and resolving purchasing queries.
