Materials Planner

Kinetic PLC are recruiting for an Material Planner on behalf of our client in Newcastle!

Are you experienced in material planning and confident working with MRP/ERP systems? Do you enjoy keeping production running smoothly and ensuring materials are available on time? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What you''ll be doing:
* Reviewing the ERP system daily to make sure materials are available as per BOM requirements.
* Converting ERP (Oracle ASCP) suggested requirements into purchase requisitions.
* Working closely with the Production Scheduler to identify risks and resolve material issues.
* Acting as the link between procurement, projects, and production teams to keep things moving.
* Monitoring inventory levels to maintain material flow while supporting cash flow targets.
* Ensuring data quality and accuracy in the ERP system.

What we''re looking for:
* Proven experience in Material Planning.
* Previous MRP/ERP experience - Oracle ASCP is a real bonus!
* Knowledge of Engineering BOM structures.
* Strong communication, organisation, and influencing skills.
* Confident IT skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

The details:
* Location: Newcastle
* Hybrid: 1 day home office possible (after training)
* Hours: 37.5 per week, compressed week available (half-day Friday), core hours 10am-4pm
* Pay:-17.94 per hour
