We are looking for an experienced Material Handler to join a busy manufacturing business in Leicester LE3.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with steady hours, premium overtime, and the chance to join a growing team.

The role

• Receive, inspect, and put away stock
• Supply materials to the shop floor: aluminium, stainless, and mild steel Sheets
• Maintain and update inventory records accurately
• Complete stock checks and cycle counts
• Investigate stock discrepancies
• Identify, label and store offcuts
• Communicate with all departments effectively

What we are looking for

• Experienced Material Handler
• National FLT Licence
• Experience working within an engineering company
• Experience in handling large/heavy sheet metal, including stainless steel
• Experienced using an ERP system 
• Ability to read and work from basic engineering drawings
• Previously conducted stock checks and cycle counts 
• Ability to investigate stock discrepancies 
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong teamwork
