Materials Coordinator

Your new company A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Procurement Officer to join its supply chain team. Operating within a fast-paced production environment, the business manufactures high-volume products and relies on effective material planning and supplier coordination to ensure uninterrupted production. Working closely with Production Planning, Procurement, Master Data and Warehouse teams, you''ll play a key role in ensuring materials are available at the right time, in the right quantities and at the right cost.Your new role As Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day flow of materials into the factory, ensuring production schedules are fully supported through effective supplier and inventory management. Using SAP and MRP planning tools, you will monitor material requirements, raise call-off orders against supplier agreements and maintain sufficient stock levels to support production demand.You will work closely with suppliers to coordinate deliveries, investigate shortages and delays, resolve invoice or quantity discrepancies and ensure accurate supplier information is maintained within the system.
