As a materials controller your role and responsibilities will be: Responsible for all production admin tasks in terms of production materials availabilityPlace purchase orders for materialsCheck incoming material loads on to the company ERP systemManage inventory issues, work closely with suppliers to chase up on orders and resolve issuesDeal with rejection notes / remakesWeekly stock and quality control checksWork closely with wider teams about materials availability, suggest areas for improvement Knowledge, skills and experience required for a materials controller: Ideally have previous experience in a similar materials controller / planner roleMust have strong MS Excel skillsBeneficial if used an ERP system previously for materialsIdeally have worked in a production / manufacturing environmentWillingness to train and learn new thingsBe a proactive person, suggest improvementsRole would suit someone that is ..... full job details .....
