We are seeking a proactive and organised Materials Controller to join our site team on a new build residential project in Bracknell. The role will involve overall management of material call-offs for key trades, ensuring site operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate material call-offs for:

Bricklayers (bricks, blocks, cement, mortar, etc.)

Carpenters (timber, sheet materials, fixings, etc.)

Plumbers (pipework, fittings, valves, sundries, etc.)

Oversee ordering and delivery schedules for general site consumables.

Maintain accurate records of materials on site and in storage.
-
Monitor usage levels to avoid shortages or over-ordering.

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and the site management team to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Support site productivity by ensuring materials are available when required.

Keep stock areas organised and compliant with health and safety standards.

Produce regular inventory reports for the project team.
Candidate Profile

Proven organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Experience in inventory management or material ordering is essential.

Strong communication and coordination skills to work with multiple trades.

Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively.

Experience within the construction industry is advantageous, but not mandatory.

IT literacy (Microsoft Office / inventory systems) desirable.
