Our client has an opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join them on a contract basis in Bolton for 12 months. The main focus of the role will be to manage all parts used in the calibration and maintenance of bespoke test systems on site. This will need to be managed in our SAP system. Role: Technical AdministratorLocation: Bolton, fully onsiteHours: 37 per weekClearance: BPSS required before starting, full SC to followHourly Rate: 22.17- 24.19 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35What you''ll be doing:Providing technical administration support to the ESS and Mechanical Team to ensure programmes are met to agreed time, cost and quality requirements. Managing Spares.From COTS (commercial off the shelf) down to components e.g. IC''s, connector savers and service kits.Creation of calibration and service kits and their redeployment back into our stock holding.Creation of material master''s with our SAP management system.Working with engineers to ascertain min / max quantity levels.Organisation of current stock and regular stock taking.Ordering of new stock.Using Jira to notify people of where items are up to.Assisting the Control Team Lead in the management of critical spares.Liaising with relevant Engineering function to determine their requirementsDeploying critical spares packages and managing calibration requirements to minimise downtime to production.Providing SAP training and producing documentation for calibration and maintenance specific activities for the control ..... full job details .....
