      <description>Location: Southampton | Salary: &amp;pound;40000 - &amp;pound;55000/annum competitive benefits package | Type: Permanent | FBR are working closely with a recognised Hampshire based building envelope contractor seeking a full time Materials and Plant Buyer.   The Role;   Lead and manage all procurement activities across the business, ensuring materials are sourced competitively while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance and programme delivery.  Working closely with the Commercial and Project Delivery teams, you will build long-term supplier relationships, negotiate best value agreements and ensure materials are available when projects need them.  This is a strategic and hands-on role, playing a key part in delivering complex façade and remediation projects.   Key Responsibilities;   Procurement Strategy.  Develop and implement procurement strategies across all divisions.  Source specialist façade systems, glazing, aluminium, cladding, fire remediation products and associated materials.  Continuously review supplier performance and market trends.  Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or programme.
