Materials and Logistics PlannerWarminster, Wiltshire£30,000 - £32,000 per annumWe at JKR are excited to be recruiting for a Materials and Logistics Planner to join our client who is a well-established leader in their sector within manufacturing!Materials and Logistics Planner Roles and Responsibilities:LogisticsOversee all freight activities for the companyCoordinating with freight forwarders and ensuring international shipping documentation complies with relevant IncotermsCollaborate with Operations to arrange and monitor transportation of project materials to site locationsPlan and coordinate domestic transport logistics, maintaining regular communication with the Operations Manager and Site ManagersMaterials Manage the purchasing process, ensuring efficient order placement and supplier coordinationMaintain strong supplier relationships and monitor competitiveness in terms of price, quality, and delivery performanceObtain and review supplier quotations prior to placing orders, comparing cost, lead times, and quality standardsManage stock allocation and issue of materials to support operational requirementRaise and link purchase orders to relevant projects to ensure accurate tracking and cost controlWork closely with the Operations team to maintain adequate forward order cover for long-lead componentsKeep project work-in-progress status updated to ensure accurate visibility of progress and materialsMaterials and Logistics Planner Ideal Candidate:Disciplined individualKeen ..... full job details .....
