Material Planning Clerk

Overview

Our client, a well-established and fast-growing Manufacturer with over 100 years in business and over 10 years in the orderbook, is hiring a Material Planning Clerk to support between Warehouse and Supply Chain functions and ensure the flow of materials into a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a Material Control, Warehouse Management or Supply Chain professional with strong ERP skills using SAP, along with advanced Microsoft Excel experience.Responsibilities

Monitor, control, and optimize the delivery and flow of all materials to support Just-In-Time production requirements.Ensure materials arrive at the correct assembly area upon receipt of material to goods in.Lead the investigation into all instances of missing materials, identifying root causes (e.g., incorrect delivery, system errors, misplaced stock).Collaborate closely with production teams to anticipate material requirements and identify potential bottlenecks.Collaborate with Warehouse to maintain a picking schedule that is forecasted accurately to prevent under/over picking.Oversee the receiving process for all incoming materials, ensuring accuracy against production orders and adherence to specified delivery requirements.Requirements
