Are you a Material Planner looking to sharpen your analytical skillset in a fast-paced, customer-facing role? Do you have experience using Excel to solve problems, improve material flow and keep customers fully informed?

This is a 12-month contract with an established, high-volume operation where you''ll be trusted to own customer orders end-to-end, protect service levels and keep premium freight to a minimum through smart planning and decisive action.

You''ll gain broad exposure across multiple stakeholders and teams, building credibility through root cause thinking, continuous improvement, and strong day-to-day communication with customers and internal partners.

In this role you''ll be on-site in Desford, managing priorities, expediting/de-expediting where needed, and proactively identifying risk to customer production through effective material planning and problem-solving.

This role suits a driven person who wants high-skill development through analytical problem-solving and continuous improvement, rather than a purely routine planning position.

The Role:

• Manage customer orders, priorities, and material flow to protect service levels and availability
• On-site role based in Desford, collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders via phone/email/Teams
• Core hours 08:00-15:00 with flexible start/finish options (e.g. 07:00-15:00 or 08:00-16:00)

The Person:

• Strong data analysis skills with an analytical problem-solving mindset (root cause focused)
• Advanced Excel capability (lookups and data analysis)
• Customer-focused communicator who works well across teams in a fast-paced environment
