Material Planner

Gleesons has been partnered with a Global Business for a exciting opportunity has arisen for a Material Planner to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company. Job Title: Material PlannerSalary : 30,000 - 40,000Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain material plans to meet production demands while ensuring optimal inventory levels.Use ERP/MRP systems to track and manage inventory and material availability.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and address any supply chain disruptions.Maintain accurate and up-to-date planning data, including lead times, safety stock levels, and order quantities.Collaborate closely with production and procurement teams to align material supply with production schedules.Monitor supplier performance and escalate any concerns or delays to relevant stakeholders.Contribute to supply chain process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.RequirementsProven experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.Solid working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.Strong organisational and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.A proactive, collaborative, and team-focused approach.
