- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
About the Role:
Hunters 4 Staff are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Materials Planner to join our blue-chip client at their premises in Uttoxeter. This 12-month fixed-term contract involves planning and expediting parts to meet market demands while managing a complex supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuity of supply of parts for aftermarket operations.
- Plan and expedite materials from the supply base in line with system requirements.
- Apply lean inventory management practices.
- Drive continuous improvement and pro-active supplier reviews.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Expedite materials promptly to meet operational needs.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
- Highly proficient with Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Possesses strong organisational skills and thrives under pressure.
- Has an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Competitive hourly pay of £18.46.
