      <description>Location: Ampthill | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Material Planner    Ampthill    12-month contract    Paying up to -36,000 (DOE)       Please note -  Due to the nature of the work, you''ll be required to hold or be eligible to obtain a high level of UK Security Clearance   Responsibilities :    Reporting status to the Master Scheduler and highlighting areas where assistance is required and flagging any potential delays to production.  Working closely with Manufacturing and Stores functions to ensure the production schedule is adhered to.  Releasing of purchase requisitions in accordance with SLA''s to ensure Procurement are able to place purchase orders to lead time.  Co-ordinating shipments and returns to and from off-site locations.  Have a good understanding of programme requirements, maintain action records, chase and expedite outstanding deliveries, highlight shortages and hold the internal customer to account.  Problem solver with a positive attitude and good organisational skills.  Utilising MRP reports and following actions in the supply chain to ensure material is ordered and delivered to meet production requirements.  Prioritising kits to support build plans.
