Materials Logistics Operator 28,000 per annumDaventry, NorthantsMonday to Thursday 7.30am - 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am - 3.45pm(41.5 hours per week, including 45 minute unpaid lunch break)PermanentOur client is an innovative and creative manufacturer of speciality chemicals, supplying products and services primarily to the aroma chemical industry, as well as the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, electronics and life science sectors.Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a permanent Materials Logistics Operator to join their busy Warehouse and Logistics team.The role:As a Materials Logistics Operator, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient running of the warehouse and logistics function. Working as part of a highly effective team, you will ensure materials are received, stored, handled and dispatched accurately and safely, maintaining high standards of organisation and housekeeping at all times.This is a hands-on position within a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage workload peaks in a calm and logical manner.Materials Logistics Operator responsibilities:Receipt and inspection of incoming materialsMaintenance of stock controlSafe movement and storage of materials within the warehouseDispensing, packing, checking and labelling of materialsArranging carriers and obtaining transport quotationsEnsuring compliance when handling hazardous materialsMaintaining excellent ..... full job details .....
