      <description>Location: Stockton-on-tees | Salary: 10000-500000 Hourly | Type: Permanent | OPERATIONS MATERIAL HANDLING  Role purpose Keep production supplied by safely moving components, assemblies and work-in-progress (WIP) between production and storage areas. WIP means parts that are still being made or assembled. Deliver the right material to the right place at the right time. No forklift licence is required. This is not a forklift role. Full training will be provided on site-approved equipment.  Main responsibilities  Move material using approved equipment, following agreed routes, schedules and production priorities.   Check part numbers, quantities and destinations before moving material. Leave loads safely positioned for the next stage of production.   Check material availability and work with production teams to prevent shortages and respond to changing priorities.   Report shortages, damaged parts, incorrect or missing identification, blocked routes and equipment problems promptly to the team leader or supervisor.   Complete required material movement, inventory and production records accurately. Share outstanding work and issues during shift handovers.
