Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Material HandlerDepartment: Warehouse / LogisticsReports To: Warehouse Supervisor / ManagerJob Type: Full-time / Temporary ongoing Hours: Monday to Wednesday 6.30am - 4.30pm and Thursday is 6.30am to 3.30pm.Pay: 12.71 per hour, increasing to 12.95 after 12 weeks. About the RoleTeamJobs are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Warehouse Operative / Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving and handling materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse or storage facility.This role involves using a variety of manual handling techniques and equipment, including hand trucks, forklifts, hoists and conveyors, to move materials to and from vehicles and designated storage areas. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions and established procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles safely and efficiently.Move, handle and store materials within the warehouse or storage facility.Operate manual handling equipment and, where appropriately trained, forklifts, hoists and conveyors.Ensure materials are handled carefully to prevent damage or loss.Follow all health and safety procedures, including manual handling guidelines.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.Follow instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.Assist with general ..... full job details .....
