      <description>Location: Stevenage | Salary: &amp;pound;17.50 - &amp;pound;18/hour | Type: Temporary | We are currently seeking an experienced  Material Controller  to join a-team on a major new build housing development.  This is a long-term opportunity working on a large-scale residential project, where you will play a key role in ensuring that materials are  ordered, delivered, received, stored and distributed efficiently  to keep construction activities running safely and to programme.  We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy construction environment, with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of site logistics and material management.  Key Responsibilities      Coordinate the delivery and movement of materials across the development.       Monitor material requirements and ensure materials are available when required by site teams.       Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, site management and procurement teams to coordinate deliveries.       Receive, check and record incoming materials, ensuring quantities and specifications are correct.       Maintain accurate records of material deliveries, stock levels and outstanding orders.
