Material Co-ordinator

Morson Edge currently have an opportunity for a Material Co-ordinator to work on behalf of our aerospace client in Yeovil. This is an ongoing contract. JOB PURPOSE To support the Material Delivery Manager in the delivery and management of material supply to the aircraft build facility, ensuring milestones and aircraft deliveries are successful and within financial budgets. To be a contact for business stakeholders ensuring clear and timely communication reference material status, risks and escalations. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS Take ownership of and resolve complex material problems to ensure customer satisfaction and business improvement. Working closely with the Production Logistic Controllers and Aircraft Managers to make sure material is delivered to the build facility on time. Forge good working relationships with business stakeholders, including Procurement, Logistics provider, Programmes, Manufacturing Engineering and MRP making certain that priorities are clear and managed appropriately in the material flow Be self-sufficient in the analysis of material data and the execution of business processes, ensuring key issues are escalated appropriately.
