Master Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable dealership in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, is seeking a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join their busy team. Duties of a Master Technician:

• Conducting vehicle diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Performing MOT testing, with a desire to gain or utilise MOT accreditation
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and within required timeframes
• Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
• Conducting quality checks and upselling additional services when appropriate
• Accurately recording work performed and parts used
• Advising customers on vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Supporting the team in achieving sales targets for labour and parts
• Supporting over-all workshop efficiency and quality standards

Requirements of a Master Technician:

• Proven experience as a Master Technician, with relevant qualifications
• MOT Tester certification (preferred but not essential; willing to train)
• Competent in repairs and diagnostics across various vehicle types
• Strong customer service skills and professional attitude
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Car ownership and a valid driving licence
• Willingness to obtain MOT certification if not already qualified
• Experience with VAG vehicles is highly desirable
