Duties of the Master Technician:

• Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles according to manufacturer standards
• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and warranty repairs efficiently and accurately
• Utilise advanced diagnostic tools to resolve complex vehicle issues
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians to improve team performance
• Maintain high safety, quality, and professionalism standards within the workshop
• Complete all reports, documentation, and warranty claims accurately
• Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and industry techniques
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Master Technician Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Proven experience working in a main dealership environment with strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Competence in electrical and mechanical systems, including EV and hybrid technology (preferred)
• Strong mentoring skills with a proactive, team-oriented attitude
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in all workshop activities
