A major new vehicle preparation centre is coming to Portbury, and we''re looking for experienced Master Technicians to join the team from the start.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art preparation centre, with state-of-the-art facilities, the latest workshop technology and modern equipment.

You''ll also have the flexibility to choose from a traditional Monday-Friday pattern or a compressed four-day week.

The Role

As a Master Technician, you''ll be responsible for advanced diagnostics, complex mechanical, electrical and electronic repairs across a wide range of vehicles.

You''ll also:

• Carry out advanced diagnostics using manufacturer-approved equipment
• Diagnose and repair complex faults
• Complete servicing, repairs and vehicle preparation to manufacturer standards
• Work with modern hybrid and electric vehicle systems
• Provide technical support to other technicians
• Assist with difficult fault diagnosis and quality control
• Maintain high standards of first-time repair
• Keep accurate workshop records
• Support continuous improvement across the preparation centre

About You

We''re looking for an experienced Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician with:

• Recognised Level 3 automotive qualification or equivalent
• Master Technician accreditation, ideally manufacturer-accredited
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Extensive knowledge of modern vehicle systems
• Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to support and mentor other technicians
• Full UK driving licence
