Master HGV Technician

Job Title: Master HGV TechnicianLocation: East LondonSalary: 33.47p/h or 1,255 per week The Master HGV Technician will be the focal point in the depot for complex technical issues and OBD diagnostics. In this role as a Master HGV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs and advice on engines, gearboxes, axles and electrical faults including body systems on a modern fleet of Passenger Service Vehicles. Undertake diagnostic investigations on vehicle defects including:Engines, fuel systems, turbos, all braking systems including air, hydraulic, ABS/EBS.Keep up to date of any technical industry updates and equipment usedBe first point of contact for in depth fault finding and repairs on various bus types.Assist in the training of other Technicians and apprenticesService and repair wheelchair ramps from various manufacturers.Attend roadside breakdowns when requiredMaintain detailed records of all work carried out, including parts used and time taken.Fully comply with all HSandE legislation and group policies.
