      <description>Location: Wigan | Salary: &amp;pound;37 - &amp;pound;40/hour | Type: Temporary | Our client Wigan Council is looking for a MASH Deputy Team Manager to join their team.   Job Purpose   To support the Team Manager in leading and managing the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), ensuring timely, proportionate and high-quality safeguarding decision-making for children and families. The post holder will provide operational leadership, professional supervision, quality assurance, and performance management while promoting effective partnership working with statutory and voluntary agencies.  The Deputy Team Manager will ensure that safeguarding referrals are appropriately screened, assessed and progressed in line with legislation, statutory guidance and local safeguarding procedures.   Key Responsibilities    Leadership and Management    Support the Team Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the MASH.  Provide leadership, guidance and professional support to social workers and other team members.  Deputise for the Team Manager in their absence.
