Marketing Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative, proactive and highly organised Marketing Executive to join an established and growing business based in Blackburn.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketer who combines strong graphic design skills with digital marketing expertise and enjoys creating engaging content across digital, social media and traditional marketing channels.

You will play a key role in ensuring the company''s brand is presented consistently and professionally, while supporting marketing activity designed to increase engagement, generate enquiries and contribute to wider business growth.

The Role

This is a varied marketing position covering creative, digital, social media, content and general marketing activity.

Website & Digital Marketing

• Create and update engaging website content.
• Manage website content through CMS platforms.
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics.
• Support SEO activity and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor PPC campaigns and analyse results.
• Manage online advertising platforms and ensure content remains accurate and up to date.

Graphic Design & Creative Content

• Create artwork for flyers, posters, brochures and other marketing materials.
• Produce website imagery and digital assets.
• Photograph products, employees, locations and events.
• Create and edit video content for websites, presentations, social media and events.
• Liaise with external suppliers, printers and promotional material providers.

Social Media

• Develop and implement social media marketing activity.
• Create regular, creative and engaging content across relevant platforms.
• Manage paid social media advertising.
• Monitor, report and analyse campaign performance.
• Work closely with colleagues involved in content creation to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach.

Content & Copywriting

• Write engaging website and social media content.
• Develop copy for marketing campaigns and promotional activity.
• Identify new opportunities to increase brand awareness and engagement.

General Marketing

• Support wider marketing campaigns and projects.
• Manage the ordering of promotional materials, corporate clothing and stationery.
• Assist with events and promotional activities.
• Support the wider marketing function with ad-hoc projects as required.

About You

We''re looking for a marketer who is creative, digitally confident and commercially aware, with the ability to take ownership of projects from initial idea through to delivery.

You will ideally have:

Minimum 3 years'' marketing experience.

Excellent graphic design skills.

Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Photography and video editing experience.

Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.

Experience managing websites and CMS platforms.

Excellent copywriting and written communication skills.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Competent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A creative approach with the ability to generate original ideas.

A proactive, enthusiastic and hardworking attitude.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

An analytical approach with the ability to interpret marketing performance data.

Desirable

Experience working within automotive, commercial, transport, retail or another product-led industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
