Marketing Designer

• Location: Taunton, Hybrid working (2 days office, 3 days home)
• Salary: -250 per day
• Job Type: 6 Month Contract, Full Time

REED Marketing & Creative are pleased to be partnering with a respected organisation operating within the government, defence and maritime sector to recruit a Marketing Designer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a major brand refresh, creating engaging visual assets across both print and digital channels.

Please note: the design team works exclusively on PCs and does not use Macs. Applicants must be comfortable working within a Windows-based environment.

The Role

This is a hands-on design position focused on bringing established brand guidelines to life. Working alongside the marketing team and external branding partners, you will create high-quality marketing materials that support a refreshed visual identity across multiple channels. The role offers a varied mix of print and digital design projects, with the opportunity to contribute to the organisation''s growing motion design capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging marketing collateral including fact sheets, brochures and newsletters
• Design exhibition materials, pull-up banners and large-format graphics
• Produce PowerPoint templates and presentation assets
• Prepare artwork for print production and create print-ready PDFs
• Design social media graphics, email headers and digital marketing assets
• Develop landing page graphics and other online creative materials
• Ensure all work adheres to established brand guidelines and visual standards
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality outputs to deadline
• Support the development of in-house motion graphics and animation content

Experience & Skills required

• 3 + years'' experience in a similar design role
• Background gained within an in-house or agency environment
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience using motion design tools such as After Effects
• Strong understanding of both print and digital design
• Experience preparing artwork and print-ready PDFs
• Proven experience working within established brand guidelines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• B2B marketing experience would be advantageous
• Comfortable working within a PC-based design environment

Start Date: 19th October 2026. A full DBS check will be carried out if successful for the role.
