Marketing & Social Media Executive
CSS Recruitment & Training and CSS Safewear are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and driven Marketing & Social Media Executive to join our growing marketing team based at our Head Office in Braintree.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you''ll play a key role in developing and delivering marketing campaigns that promote our three core divisions:
Temporary & Permanent Recruitment Services across the UK
Training Services
PPE, Workwear & Safety Equipment through CSS Safewear
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, developing marketing strategies, and bringing fresh ideas to help grow our brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create and schedule engaging content across all major social media platforms.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote our recruitment, training and PPE/workwear services.
- Create compelling marketing materials including graphics, videos, email campaigns, brochures and promotional content.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaign plans.
- Generate new ideas to increase brand awareness, customer engagement and lead generation.
- Manage and grow our social media presence across multiple brands.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Update and maintain website content where required.
- Assist with digital marketing and online advertising campaigns.
- Support the sales and recruitment teams with marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
- Help organise exhibitions, events and promotional activities.
- Ensure all marketing communications remain consistent with brand guidelines.
About You

Confident managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Commercially aware with a proactive approach to generating ideas.
Comfortable analysing campaign performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Keen to stay up to date with the latest marketing trends, social media platforms and digital technologies.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Previous experience in a marketing and/or social media role.
Experience managing business social media accounts.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Analytics.
Experience with email marketing platforms.
Understanding of SEO and paid digital advertising.
Photography and video editing skills would be an advantage.
