Marketing & Customer Service Assistant - Temporary - 4 weeks

Work from home; 20 hours week/ 4 hours day. Must be available to work within office hours. Must live in a commutable distance of Braintree/ Bishops Stortford and available to meet for a face to face interview week commencing 18th August

  • Location: Homeworking, but must be located within half an hour from Braintree / Bishops Stortford

Position Overview

We are seeking a confident and professional individual for a short-term marketing project which will envolve updating our client database ahead of an important marketing campaign. This is an outbound telephone-based role focused on verifying and updating company contact details and research using linkedin.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contact companies in our database to verify and update client details
  • Confirm correct contact names and positions within client organisations
  • Use LinkedIn to research and verify contact information
  • Maintain accurate records of all updates and changes
  • Ensure data quality and completeness before marketing launch

Essential Requirements

  • Strong telephone communication skills - confident and professional phone manner
  • Comfortable making outbound calls to businesses
  • Professional, courteous approach when speaking with company representatives
  • Experience in telephone-based customer service roles
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Desirable Experience

  • Background in marketing; customer service within an office setting or sales support environment
  • Experience with LinkedIn for professional research (not essential)
  • Previous data cleansing or database management experience
  • CRM system familiarity and good IT skills
  • Confident and personable
